London's major airports - Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead, Luton and London City Airport - are all efficiently linked to the city centre by bus or train. In most cases the train services are the fastest way of getting to the centre of London.
Hammersmith is a 40 minute (approx) tube (London Underground) journey on the Piccadilly line direct to Heathrow airport. Please note, the Heathrow Terminal 4 tube station is closed until September 2005, buses are available.
Heathrow is also serviced by the Heathrow Express, which makes the journey from Paddington Station to Terminals 1-3 in 15 minutes and to Terminal 4 in 20.
The Gatwick Express runs between Gatwick Airport and Victoria Station in 30 minutes or you can take Airbus No 5 to Victoria Coach Station.
The Stansted Express will get you to Stansted Airport from Liverpool Street Station in 45 minutes.
Luton airport is serviced by the Luton Express which takes 25 minutes to central London.
London City Airport has a shuttlebus which links with Canning Town, Canary Wharf and Liverpool Street tube stations.
