
ER SECURES MAJOR INTERNATIONAL BROADCAST PLATFORMS FOR KEY BRANDS
New Broadcast agreements signed for George of the Jungle™, Finley the Fire Engine™ and Casper’s Scare School™ spanning Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific
London, 04 September 2008 - Entertainment Rights Plc (ER) a leading global entertainment media company whose growing portfolio includes some of the world’s most popular children’s, family and retro brands today announces it has signed a number of major television distribution deals for its core brands in key territories around the globe.

The animated series George of the Jungle™ has generated significant interest from broadcasters in major territories following successful launches last year on Nickelodeon (UK), Cartoon Network (US), France 3 and 5 and Super RTL (Germany), Disney Channel Latin America. New deals concluded include; Nickelodeon (Spain), TV Globo (Brazil), Cadena Ecuatoriana (Ecuador), MBC (Middle East), Alter Channel (Greece), TV4 (Sweden), Noga TV (Israel), Modern Times (Greece), and Leader Music (Latin America) Mega (Chile) and America TV (Peru).
Casper’s Scare School™
Casper’s Scare School™, a co-production with Moonscoop and DQ Entertainment is a brand new series based on one of the worlds most beloved and recognisable kids properties. The show which sees Casper® and his misfit friends pitted against a scare-hungry gang of ghouls has generated a raft of new deals including ZDF, KIKA and Cartoon Network (Germany), Cartoon Network (Asia Pacific), TSR (Switzerland) Luis Foes (Portugal), Cartoon Network (Latin America), and HVN (Singapore). These deals complement existing pre-sales already secured alongside key broadcasters TF1 (France) and Cartoon Network (UK).
Pre-school series Finley the Fire Engine™ which received its worldwide premiere on CBeebies in Summer 2007 and became an immediate ratings success has found a new home on National Geographic (Latin America), Disney (Australia), ECTV (Ecuador), Telemundo (Puerto Rico), Luis Foes (Portugal), and Spacetoon (Indonesia). Set within the vibrant world of Friendlyville, the captivating CGI series, (78 x 11 episodes) is aimed at pre-school children. On the outside Finley is a bright red fire engine, on the inside he’s a kid at heart. Finley, with the help of other loveable, everyday working vehicles tackles such issues as sibling rivalry, the care of pets, safety during playtime and sports, the importance of physical fitness, and many more themes. Finley The Fire Engine™ is produced by RHI and Entertainment Rights acquired the international rights to the property in October 2006. It has since sold the series to over 90 territories.
